Page Zero is an introspective work from Eduardo Del Signore. It introduces the listener to a very intimate aspect of Edu's life. A story about the first answer to his heart's call to be fulfilled. The celebration of finding and securing the answer.

Perhaps the strong concentration of oxygen that sweeps through the coastal neighborhoods of Montevideo, Uruguay have something to do with the way that Mr. Eduardo M. Del Signore has come up with a unique style of bass-playing.
The pulse that dominates the intricate rhythms of Candombe music, have given Eduardo a freedom of expression that is very much responsible for carving out of the wood of his basses a voice that speaks directly from his heart.
A voice that has internationally been recognized by many and documented by an article in the Bass Player Magazine: Eduardo M. Del Signore has covered a remarkable span of both geography and sounds in his musical career. With taste and grace, Del Signore's fingers offer up the bass-plucking equivalent of a United Nations conference. With CAPTIVATED, his first production as a solo artist, Eduardo introduces an intimate song collection of Contemporary World Music. Subtle Jazz and Classical textures, spiced with flavors from South America and Africa, create an adventurous musical palette within and around Del Signore's bass performances, composition and production. English, Spanish, Portuguese and Yoruba lyrics, are the languages that relate the captivating stories that focus on the common thread of the heart's longing.

Following on the footsteps from Presencia, Ritual's debut music work, "A New Map of the World" expands the band's message of human commonality and uniqueness and at the same time exposing the ever changing border lines of fear and power manipulation.
In this presentation, Ritual counts with the collaboration of Tommy Eyre & Scarlet Rivera, as well as Marcel Adjibi and Cara Tower, whom together with the Lopez family (from the Afro-Uruguayan tradition of Candombe rhythms) give us a wider pallette of what Uruguayan music can bring forth on to the Universal spectrum of artistic expression.
With live recordings from Ritual's concert at the "Teatro Solis" in Montevideo Uruguay, the listener can appreciate even more the power and virtuosity of what these artists have to share with their audiences.

With the collaboration of Steve Fowler, Tuca Camargo, Charles Moore, Adam Rudolph, Hugo Fattoruso and Pippo Spera, Ritual presents a unique view of a presence that manifests in every place and moment in an ever changing World constantly influenced by the forces of ignorance, power manipulation and fear.

The Wisdom of the Elements...Water, a mirror like wisdom, the art of seeing back. Earth, a wisdom of equanimity. We grow into right relations. Fire, a discriminating awareness wisdom.
